How GST works on a Pune invoice
Pune is in Maharashtra and we are registered in Delhi, which makes this an inter-state supply. The 18% appears as a single IGST line rather than a CGST and SGST split. The total is the same either way, and if you are GST-registered you claim it as input credit either way. It changes what the invoice looks like, not what it costs — which is worth knowing before your accountant asks.
